This is the sunset sequence taken by Dean Ketelsen on 12/18/09 from Mt. Lemmon highway, spanning a distance of roughly 60 miles. Note the sunspots on the right side of the sun's disk!

New test to do
Dean has pointed out that he can't use html code in the comment section when he responds to, or leaves, a comment. Someone left us a comment on our other blog, using html code. Time to try and figure out how they did that!

MiniPod
Of course, my latest test was putting the MiniPod (at the top of the right hand column) on this, and our regular blog! It was fun, super fast, and easy to do! The site (you can access it by clicking on the link with the MiniPod) has loads of music that can be added to it. In fact, the amount of music is pretty impressive. As usual, though, there is music that I would like on it that they don't have on their site. They do give instructions on how to go about uploading your own music for use on the MiniPod, I haven't do that yet. That could be my next test! In the meanwhile, I really like this gadget! I have started it playing and then minimized the screen to listen to music while I do other things (including painting!). Over all, I would recommend this gadget if you want to add something like this to your blog. I can't take the credit for finding it, however. I saw it on Rex Parker's blog first. I checked it out on there and immediately headed for the site to create one of my very own! Hope you like it!

This is a series Dean took at Kitt Peak a few weeks ago. Now that I have the .gif's loading, I have to figure out how to correctly align them with the text! Always a new challenge!

One more time!!!
I'm making progress! I still see the little ad thing at the bottom of the page, however. Last try to fix that for now. #
Let's try this again!
I tried it the first time, not thinking about the background of the page being black (needs a different color of text than black). Also, I recall reading that by including a specific character I can avoid having the 'cref' (as they called it) show up at the bottom of the entry (no ads, in otherwords). Worth a shot!

Email to blog test
I'm trying out the email to blog feature. I think that it could come in handy, should we not be able to access our blog page, but still want to post (i.e. ... I can't think of any example of this!)
